Övertorneå Municipality is looking for a Physical Education Teacher for grades 7-9

According to surveys, Övertorneå municipality's schools are among the best in the country, and we offer education of the highest quality - from preschool to adult education. All students in preschool, primary school, and high school have their own iPads or computers, and our facilities are equipped with digital teaching tools. We place great importance on IT competence and experience working with digital learning platforms. We have high expectations for both students and staff.

About You

We are looking for a certified teacher in physical education and health. You should have good pedagogical skills and a positive attitude towards our students. You are flexible, open, meticulous, and have good collaboration skills. We place great value on your engagement, responsibility, and professional competence. Digital competence is a requirement. The position is permanent part-time.

The position can be combined with other subjects and positions available within the education administration.

Job Responsibilities

Teaching physical education in grades 7-9 at Svarträvens School in Övertorneå.

Scope

Full-time, starting August 13, 2025.
